Please help look after your Market House and donate NOW. The money raised from bookings is vital, but we need to carry out essential maintenance and improvements.
Minchinhampton Market House provides our community with a place to enjoy a whole range of activities, such as getting fit, being entertained, buying local produce or learning a new skill. And if you live in Minchinhampton, the Market House actually belongs to you! It is managed by a committee that is responsible for raising money to pay for its upkeep and any improvements. This is because, unlike other Market Houses in the local area, its only revenue comes from rent or grants.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Hire it – and encourage others to do the same
The Market House can hold 88 for a sit down meal, 100 for a theatrical-style event and up to 150 for a party. So if there is a big birthday or anniversary approaching for you – or someone you know – this could be the ideal venue!
Help to maintain it by donating
Unless this historic building is maintained regularly, it will be in danger of falling into disrepair. There is an urgent need to carry out maintenance to the guttering and other repairs will be required in the very near future in order to keep it in good condition.
