Booking An Event:

The Village Hall is licensed for public use under the Premises Act 2003.
We have tried to make the process as straight forward as the legal conditions allow, but if in any doubt during this process, please speak to our Bookings Secretary (Contact Details).

Before Booking:

  • Check Market House availability. Refer to Events Calendar or to our Bookings Secretary (Contact Details).
  • Check the facilities meet your requirements. Refer to our Home Page and visit the Market House to see for yourself. N.B. You will need to agree an access time with the Bookings Secretary (Contact Details), or visit on Country Market day.
  • Click on the following documents for details of hire – they are also available to view in the ‘Health & Safety’ File, held in the kitchen at the Market House:
  • If you are holding a Private Party where alcoholic drink is to be served, then the following additional document applies to you. Please check to ensure that you are conversant with its details.

Booking Process:

  • Allow time for setting up and cleaning up afterwards.
  • Agree charges, including those for any extras, and payment dates with our Bookings Secretary (Contact Details).
  • Complete the following form – also available from our Bookings Secretary:
  • Send or hand in the form to our Bookings Secretary, who will sign on our behalf. The form will be duplicated, we hold the copy and you, the Hirer, will hold the original. You will also be given:
    • Invoice
    • Information Sheet for Hirers
  • Once a booking is completed, it will be posted to our website calendar.

Hire Charges:

Residents to Minchinhampton, and others with regular bookings are charged at the following rates:
